Ep 38 - Blood Simple (1984)

Jason Furie and Adam Roth review the Coen Brothers directorial debut Blood Simple (1984).

The film Blood Simple (1984) was a launch pad for a lot of top Hollywood talent including Joel and Ethan Coen, Barry Sonnenfeld, and Frances McDormand. It's also a pretty solid flick. Kinda like the Evil Dead of film noir. Jason Furie and Adam Roth review and discuss this dark, gritty, and violent film featuring an excellent ensemble cast. They also try and figure out if it has anything to do with JTT or The Lion King. Maybe?
